PROGRAM
The Recording Engineer Program
A COMPLETE AUDIO EDUCATION
The Los Angeles Recording School's Recording Engineer curriculum is designed to educate students in all aspects of recording session procedures and technologies. This includes the initial preparation stages of equipment setup and preproduction, through the multi-track recording process, to mixing and mastering a finished product in stereo or even 5.1 surround sound.
The Recording Engineer Program includes training in both classroom and hands-on lab environments. It covers the widest range of audio disciplines including music production and sound-for-picture audio postproduction.
Our students learn on industry standard equipment in over 19 studios and labs. Featured gear includes state of the art Digidesign Pro Tools HD systems, Solid State Logic, and Neve large format mixing consoles.
We are a Digidesign Certified Training Location teaching Digidesign approved curriculum. Students who complete the required Pro Tools courses and meet our academic requirements will qualify to test for Digidesign’s 210 Music and 210 Post Certification, also known as Operator Level Certification.
