Digidesign's Pro Tools Certification Program

The Los Angeles Recording School’s curriculum covers all phases of recording, music, and postproduction, from cutting edge digital systems to large format mixing consoles and analog tape. Our labs featuring Digidesign’s Pro Tools systems allow students to experience industry standard technology even in the program’s first months.

The addition of industry standard Pro Tools systems in Los Angeles Recording School studios and labs has allowed the school to establish a partnership with Digidesign allowing students to take their Pro Tools training even further.

The program allows those that qualify to take Digidesign’s Certification test within the school. It gives students a chance to earn certification at a Pro Tools Operator level in music and/or postproduction. Those that complete the program are listed on Digidesign’s website where prospective employers or clients look to find certified talent.

“There is no other package comparable to Pro Tools. It’s the world’s most prominent audio editing and mixing environment,” said Steve Miller, Director of Education for The Los Angeles Recording School. “Becoming certified guarantees that you have a deep understanding of the system and there is a high demand for these individuals.”
