Maintenance Lab
Being able to troubleshoot and repair recording equipment and machines is a skill that cannot be overlooked. Eventually things will break, cables will wear out, and having the knowledge and ability to repair a piece of gear is a great asset to any student or recording studio employee.
At the Los Angeles Recording School each of the maintenance labs feature eight fully stocked soldering stations where students learn the art of soldering, making and repairing audio and video cables, as well as equipment troubleshooting.
