Analog Console Lab

This lab is centered around sixteen Soundcraft Ghost LE 24-channel analog mixing / recording consoles housed in Argosy studio furniture. Each station also includes an Alesis HD24 digital hard disk 24-track recorder, Tascam CD-RW900 compact disc recorder as well as outboard effects processors from T.C. Electronic. The lab also features a central Pro Tools system which allows instructors to feed 8 channels of audio simultaneously to all 16 student stations for recording exercises. Additionally, the room houses two 'tear apart' setups based on the Mackie 24x8 analog recording console that students disconnect and re-wire as part of class exercises.
