Mastering Lab

This brand new lab is designed to train students in the art of audio mastering and CD authoring. The lab features seventeen HP XW4400 workstations, each with dual 20" LCD displays, Plextor optical drives and M-Audio FastTrak Pro audio interfaces. Students are trained on Steinberg Wavelab software with audio processing plug-ins by Waves as well as CD error checking software by Plextor. Additional training tools such as the ability for the instructor to broadcast their screen to all 16 student stations simultaneously, video projection and studio monitors by Event and JBL add to the effectiveness of the lab.
