Requirements and Application

GET ENROLLED AT THE LOS ANGELES RECORDING SCHOOL


The admissions department is here to answer any questions you may have and help you get enrolled in The Los Angeles Recording School.

The Los Angeles Recording School has an open enrollment policy, and start dates occur every four weeks. Enrollment is open to any high school graduate who is seriously interested in the field of professional audio production. No previous experience in recording is required for admission.

To take the first step toward becoming a professional recording engineer, you can enroll in person or by mail. To enroll in person, stop by the school and visit with an Admissions Representative during our office hours. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

To enroll by mail, call the Admissions Department at 323.464.5200 or toll-free at 888.688.5277 to request an enrollment application. Once you receive the enrollment application, simply complete it and return it to your Admissions Representative.

For admission consideration, The Los Angeles Recording School requires candidates to meet the following criteria:

• Be a high school graduate (or have the equivalent GED)
• Be 18 years of age or older



HOW TO APPLY TO THE LOS ANGELES RECORDING SCHOOL


To apply and be considered for admission to The Los Angeles Recording School’s Recording Engineer Program, please submit the following:

• Fully completed application for enrollment
• $75.00 non-refundable application fee
• Official high school transcripts, G.E.D. score report, or copy of high school diploma.
